The Best Body Scrubber

The Best Body Scrubber. I found myself wondering, “where do I look for such a Vital Contrivance”? Does it even exist? I have always used the old usual scrubber. You know what I mean. The loofah and the washcloth. Of course, this presents a bacteria problem. These items are loaded with bacteria. You cannot really ever truly get rid of the “Gunk” that accumulates on them. I don’t think that sounds like a very clean way to bathe.

I didn’t think this was a good idea but had no clue what else to try. Sometimes we get used to doing certain things in a certain way. Finding a better way can be a challenge. I knew there had to be a better method instead of this madness. So, I figured I had better do some research on it. I discovered there have been many things that were tried in the past. Some very interesting things!

History of Scrubbing-Finding the Best Body Scrubber

This is where the issue really got chaotic. They got very inventive with scrubbing in ancient times. Of course, they couldn’t just step into the shower like we can today. They used to do a lot of dry brushing. I found out the Ancient Egyptians were basically the pioneers of dry brushing. They used to perform extraordinary beauty rituals. They not only originated the dry body brushing technique, they also were the among the first to use pumice stones.

And if that wasn’t enough, they also discovered that the lactic acids found in sour milk and wine were great for skin renewal too. They basically invented the use of chemical exfoliants. Really quite innovative and ingenious. I know what you are thinking. No, Cleopatra wasn’t getting any facials. But I would guess she was enjoying the heck out of her milk baths!

Importance of Exfoliating

I have come to learn how important exfoliation is. We have certainly come very far in terms of how we exfoliate. Gone are the days of using Corncobs, Seashells, and sand. (At least I hope so.) I have wondered how people used to have clear skin “back in the day”. They used to mix fresh berries with milk. They used this as a face mask. The ingredients were applied to the face as a paste. It was excellent for moisturizing. It also had anti-aging properties.

We have other things we use today. Many people love using this product to promote Beautiful Skin. It has shown the ability to “Reverse Age” your Skin, Hair, and Nails. That certainly sounds much better than using Corncobs! Then along comes the Loofah. While it certainly was an improvement, the aforementioned bacteria certainly are an issue. I don’t like using Loofahs for this reason. They are dirty and disgusting items.

We certainly benefit from exfoliating. I have found these to be the most important.

  • Unclogs your Pores. This is important for preventing breakouts.
  • Removes Dead Skin Cells. This allows new cells to surface.
  • Sweeps dirt and debris out. This helps other Skincare Products work better.
  • Even Skin Tone. You will notice that certain glow.
  • Boosts Circulation and aids in Lymphatic Drainage.

Body Scrubbers Galore

I have been surprised by the amount of stuff that is out there. You really have a lot to choose from. What material is best? You may wonder what size is right for you. So many choices! Some people like to have a handle. I know some people like a strap to wrap around their hand. You can choose long, short, thick, thin. UGH! For me, I like to be able to easily get the job done. I use this Scrubber.

I just scrunch it to get my limbs clean. Then, I just stretch it to scrub my back. It’s simple. I just throw it over my shoulder, pull from the other end. I just pull back and forth from here. You know sometimes it’s not easy to get to those sneaky places. I have found it’s a breeze with this. I just wrap two layers around my finger. It is very easy then to get behind my ears, and between my toes!

There it is in a nutshell. I think we have pretty well covered The Best Body Scrubber topic. There is so much to choose from. You can get lost in the maze of choices. I suggest you give the one I use a try. You may like it as much as I do.
